松井久子（映画監督 / 作家）
東京出身 早稲田大学文学部卒。
雑誌のライター、テレビドラマのプロデューサーを経て、1998年『ユキエ』で映画監督デビュー。
2002年の『折り梅』は公開から2年で観客100万人を動員。2010年公開の３作目は世界的彫刻家イサム・ノグチの母の生涯を描いた日米合作映画『レオニー』。2013年春からはアメリカをはじめ世界各国で公開された。
その後、ドキュメンタリー映画『何を怖れる フェミニズムを生きた女たち』、『不思議なクニの憲法』を発表。
一貫して愛、家族、自由、解放、フェミニズムなどをテーマに作品を発表し続け、2021年2月には小説『疼くひと』で74歳作家デビュー。2022年11月に2作目の小説『最後のひと』を上梓。2024年7月には新著『つがいをいきる』が刊行された。

Born in Tokyo, Hisako Matsui graduated from Waseda University with a degree in literature.
After working as a magazine writer and television drama producer,
she made her directorial debut in 1998 with the film Yukie.
Her 2002 feature Oriume drew over one million viewers within two years of its release. Her third film, Leonie(2010), a Japan–U.S. co-production, portrays the life of the mother of renowned sculptor Isamu Noguchi and was released internationally beginning in the spring of 2013.
Matsui went on to direct the documentaries What Are You Afraid Of? Women Who Fought for Freedom and The Miracle Constitution of a Mysterious Country, continuing her commitment to themes of love, family, freedom, liberation, and feminism throughout her work. In February 2021, at the age of 74, she made her literary debut with the novel Uzukuhito (Aching Person), followed by her second novel Saigo no Hito (The Last Person) in November 2022. Her latest book, Tsugai o Ikiru (Living as a Pair), was published in July 2024.
